Perform proximal-to-distal scans, assess augmentation and respiratory variation, compare the contralateral limb, and document images and measurements.

Clinicians will confirm with further imaging, start timely treatment (anticoagulation for clots, vascular intervention for severe blockages), monitor for complications such as pulmonary embolism, and arrange follow-up plus preventive measures like compression stockings and risk-factor control.
