A bilateral lower limb Doppler is a non-invasive ultrasound test that uses Doppler sound waves to assess arterial and venous blood flow in both legs. It evaluates circulation, detects clots (DVT), narrowing or blockages (peripheral arterial disease), and venous insufficiency or varicose veins. The scan—often with color and spectral Doppler—is painless, typically takes 15 to 45 minutes, and usually requires no special preparation.
