MRA/MRV spine screen

MRA (magnetic resonance angiography) and MRV (magnetic resonance venography) are MRI-based scans that visualize arteries and veins, respectively. They produce detailed, noninvasive images to detect aneurysms, stenosis, vascular malformations, or clots. Techniques may use contrast (gadolinium) or special sequences. They avoid ionizing radiation but can be unsuitable with certain implants or severe kidney dysfunction due to contrast risks.

Sedation risks and very rare infection or bleeding at the injection site may occur.
