MRA Head & Neck

A magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) of the head and neck is a noninvasive MRI technique that produces detailed images of the blood vessels supplying the brain and neck. It detects aneurysms, stenosis, dissections, and vascular malformations and helps evaluate stroke risk. MRA can be done with or without gadolinium contrast, involves no ionizing radiation, and usually takes about 15–45 minutes.
